Black History, Black Futures: Antiblackness in Climate Change

Talk from Michael Lomotey: Black History, Black Futures: Antiblackness in climate change

Michael has previously worked on the human rights impacts of tourism and also sustainability and has a Masters in Climate Change Sustainability and Adaptation Planning. Michael’s PhD research centres on antiblackness in environmentalism, looking for solutions that are emancipatory, equitable, inclusive and therefore more efficient. He uses antiblackness as a theoretical ontological framework through which to uncover truths in environmental discourses.
