Come along to one of our events and meet other Hackney residents with shared green values. We hold a monthly social event that anyone can attend in addition to other local events that we hold or participate in.

We will be out listening to residents together, hearing their concerns and views on local issues, and getting the word out about the incredible Victoria team, Rolf (Green), Penny and Claudia (HISG) and our mayoral candidates Zoë and Dylan.
Never done this before? No problem! The team will provide training at the start of the event. You'll be buddied up with someone experienced if you are new.
No need to prepare anything in advance, just bring yourself and some comfy shoes!

King's Park (Clapton) New Members Canvassing

Join us on Thursday 11th December where we'll be welcoming and training new members on canvassing, building a winning team for the King's Park ward.
Arrival time is at 5:45pm at Dorée & Co for canvassing to start at 6pm. Don't worry if you are late, just make sure we have your number and we can share with you our live locations.
Whether you're a new member or an old member who wants to get more involved, everyone is welcome!
From 6pm we will go out around the ward door knocking, no experience required, training will be provided.
Come and join us for the chance to meet fellow greens, be on the front lines of local political change, and become engaged in our local community!

Homerton Joint Action Day - 12 December

Come & join us in Homerton as we head out into the ward to knock on doors and tell residents about the great work our joint Green & Hackney Independent Socialist allied team have lined up for Hackney in 2025 and into 2026!We will meet at meet outside the entrance to Upcott House. This is an event suitable for new members, where we will provide training and pair new members with more experienced canvassing partners. Everyone will get a briefing at the start and chance to meet other like-minded individuals!
During our action, we knock on doors and speak to residents to get the word out about what Zoe (Green), Heather and Alana (Hackney Indpendent Socialist) stand for and listen to their concerns and feedback.
Timings:
11:30am: Meet & Greet plus briefing/training
11.45am: Canvassing, doorknocking and speaking to residents
1pm: Finish!
The team will provide a full briefing and training at the start of the event, and you'll be buddied up with someone experienced if you are new. No need to prepare anything in advance, just bring yourself, some comfy shoes and ideally, a charged phone. Please RSVP if possible so we can register you with the canvassing app!
