🌿 Clissold Ward - Big Day Out on Saturday 28 February 2026 

With just 68 days to go until the Local Elections on 7 May 2026, we’re stepping up our campaign across the borough.

The Clissold team - an alliance between the Hackney Greens and Hackney Independent Socialist Collective (HISC) - are running our own focused afternoon as part of the borough-wide Big Day Out - come and help us show that another Hackney is possible! 

Plan for the day 

🕧 12:30pm – Meet at Chats Palace

We’ll gather at the Big Day Out venue to connect with volunteers from across Hackney! Bring lunch if you fancy 

📍 Chats Palace, 42-44 Brooksby's Walk, London E9 6DF

📣 12:45–1:45pm – Rally & Speeches

Join the borough-wide rally, hear from speakers including Zack Polanski, Zoë Garbett and Dylan Law, and build momentum for the afternoon.

🚲 🚌 🚶🏼‍♀️ 1:45pm – Head to Clissold

After the rally, we’ll travel back to Clissold Ward.

☕ 2:15pm – Meet at New River Cafe (Church Street, N16)

This is our Clissold meeting point. We’ll organise into pairs or small teams and head out to knock on doors.

If you want to skip the rally at Chats Palace, feel free to meet us here at 2.15pm!

🗳 2:15–5:00pm – Door-Knocking in Clissold

We’ll be speaking to residents across the ward. New volunteers are very welcome — we’ll make sure you’re paired up and supported.

🌿 5:00pm – Wrap Up & Optional Social

We’ll finish up and those who’d like can head on for a well-earned social, organised by Hackney Greens.
