Join us Saturday 11 Feb from 1:30-4:30pm for door knocking in Dalston with Cllr Zoë Garbett
Above - Some of our friendly volunteers about to go door knocking in Dalston with Cllr Zoë Garbett.
Part of what makes Green councillors different is that we talk to and engage with our communities all year-round not just at election time. We'll be knocking on friendly residents' doors to talk about our community and how we can help.
Meeting at 8 Carlisle Walk, E8 3SX at 1:30pm for a hot drink 🫖🍵 and a snack 🥨🥑. Training and experienced Green buddies will be provided! This session is PERFECT for first-timers!
What has your Green councillor Zoë been up to?
💚 Arranged for older residents' hot water and heating to be fixed during the cold weather and got the Hackney repairs team to sort out council tenants' mould issues
💚 Secured agreement for 11 new dropped kerbs in Dalston, to help disabled residents get around more easily
💚 Supported the London Renters Union (LRU) to resist an eviction in Dalston
Speaking to residents is a great way to let them know about Zoë's work and find out what support they need. It's always lovely to chat to our Dalston neighbours!
Send Alice an email on [email protected] if you'd like to find out more before the event.
We can't wait to see you 🌞🌞
All members are reminded of the Safeguarding Commitment and Code of Conduct which they agreed to upon joining the party.
