There is so much good Green news to tell the residents of Hackney Downs!
Help us deliver our latest newsletter about:
- Our recent by-election win in Stoke Newington with new Green Councillor Liam Davis joining the team.
- The important work being carried out day-in day-out by your Green Councillors at Hackney Council on housing, accessibility of transport, Divestment, fighting school closures, to name just a few.
Let's take another step in turning Hackney Green 💚 with this sociable Green Action Afternoon.
💚 Meeting at Clapton Library, Northwold Road at 2.30pm on Saturday 9th November.💚
We will door-knock in pairs (for those who want to meet residents) - no experience is necessary and there's always an option to deliver leaflets in pairs.
There will be full training provided and friendly Greens on hand to support every volunteer.
This essential campaign activity gives us the best chance of getting more Green policies passed at Hackney council, and electing Green councillors in future local elections. The social, climate and ecological crises demands the need for Greens voices in the room. We need your help today.
If not now, when?
Please RSVP below. Feel free to bring along a friend or family too!
Everyone welcome to stay and socialise afterwards, we will move to the Crooked Billet in Upper Clapton from 4pm.
All members are reminded of the Safeguarding Commitment and Code of Conduct which they agreed to upon joining the party.
If you are under 18 and would like to attend this event, please ask a parent or guardian to contact the organiser (details below) and sign a consent form.
