Hackney Green Party Local Election Action Day

In May 2017, Hackney could elect a Green Councillor, with your help.

Currently, Hackney’s Council is led by a huge group of 50 councillors, but there’s not a single Green Councillor to put across a Green perspective, or hold them to account on some of the issues we hold dear.

All this can change, with your support. Join us for a day of action where we’ll be hearing from local residents. With your help, we can show that Greens are listening to Londoners and will champion the issues that matter.

On the day we’ll be joined by our very own London Assembly Member Caroline Russell who will speak to us about what it means to elect a local Green Councillor. The day will involve listening to the concerns of residents during 2 sessions, either at 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm. Training will be provided so please aim to join us at the start of one of those sessions if possible. If you’re not comfortable speaking briefly with residents, there’s also leaflets to deliver. Whether you’re new to local campaigning or experienced, your help is needed. Look forward to seeing you there!

All members are reminded of the Safeguarding Commitment and Code of Conduct which they agreed to upon joining the party.
If you are under 18 and would like to attend this event, please ask a parent or guardian to contact the organiser (details below) and sign a consent form.
