Come & join us in Homerton as we head out into the ward to knock on doors and tell residents about the great work our joint Green & Hackney Independent Socialist allied team have lined up for Hackney in 2026!

We will meet at outside Black Cat café on Clarence Road! This is an event suitable for new members, where we will provide training and pair new members with more experienced canvassing partners. Everyone will get a briefing at the start and chance to meet other like-minded individuals!

During our action, we knock on doors and speak to residents to get the word out about what Zoe (Green), Heather and Alana (Hackney Indpendent Socialist) stand for and listen to their concerns and feedback.

Timings:

1:00pm: Meet & Greet plus briefing/training

1.15pm: Canvassing, doorknocking and speaking to residents

3pm: Finish!

The team will provide a full briefing and training at the start of the event, and you'll be buddied up with someone experienced if you are new. No need to prepare anything in advance, just bring yourself, some comfy shoes and ideally, a charged phone. Please RSVP if possible so we can register you with the canvassing app!
