Come & join us in Homerton as we head out into the ward to knock on doors and tell residents about the great work our joint Green & Hackney Independent Socialist allied team have lined up for Hackney in 2025 and into 2026!

We will meet outisde Valette House on Valette Street, at 1pm. This is an event suitable for new members, where we will provide training and pair new members with more experienced canvassing partners. Everyone will get a briefing at the start and chance to meet other like-minded individuals!

During our action, we knock on doors and speak to residents to get the word out about what Zoe (Green), Heather and Alana (Hackney Indpendent Socialist) stand for and listen to their concerns and feedback.

Timings:

1pm: Meet & Greet plus briefing/training

1.15pm: Canvassing, doorknocking and speaking to residents

3pm: Finish!

The team will provide a full briefing and training at the start of the event, and you'll be buddied up with someone experienced if you are new. No need to prepare anything in advance, just bring yourself and some comfy shoes.
