Come & join us in Homerton for a Big Day Out as we knock on doors and tell residents about the great work our joint Green & Hackney Independent Socialist allied team have lined up for Hackney in 2026!

We will meet inside the entrance of Hackney Picturehouse on Mare St!
You can come at any time between 12-3pm and will be teamed up and allocated an area of the ward to canvas.
This is an event suitable for new members, where we will provide training and pair new voltunteers with more experienced canvassing partners. Everyone will get a briefing at the start and chance to meet other like-minded individuals!

During our action, we knock on doors and speak to residents to get the word out about what Zoe H (Greens), Heather and Alana (Hackney Indpendent Socialists) stand for and listen to their concerns and feedback.

Timings:

12:00pm: Meet & Greet plus briefing/training

12-3pm: Allocating canvassing, doorknocking and speaking to residents.

4pm: Finish!

You can come for as long as you have time and energy for! No need to prepare anything in advance, just bring yourself, some comfy shoes and ideally, a charged phone. Please RSVP if possible so we can register you with the canvassing app!
