Our regular monthly Policy and Ideas meetings are an opportunity for members to contribute to and discuss local party strategy and to understand and inform policies.
We are currently making use of our regular monthly Policy and Ideas meetings to ask members to contribute to a manifesto for the Local Elections 2022.
For each policy area we ask the question what will we do as Green councillors?
This month we will be discussing Local Economy. Many Hackney businesses have struggled with the Coid-19 pandemic trading restrictions, particularly in the retail and hospitality sectors. What can we do as councillors to support local businesses, how do we want our high streets to look and how we can make Hackney happy and prosperous.
It will be a lively and friendly discussion, all welcome.
All members are reminded of the Safeguarding Commitment and Code of Conduct which they agreed to upon joining the party.
