Members' Monthly Policy & Ideas meetings are back!

We we will now be testing these as HYBRID meetings. Join us in person at the Bread & Butter Cafe (accessible venue) or online via Zoom. Zoom link will be sent to those who RSVP.

Kicking off on the evening of Thursday 15th January 7pm - 8.30pm - in these meetings come and learn, contribute and discuss policies and ideas! ALL MEMBERS WELCOME - no specific knowledge needed! 

 TOPIC FOR THIS MEETING

 

Hackney Green Party has an ambition for 'Compassion, Kindness, Inclusion & Equity' in all aspects of local politics and policy-making.

 

How do we put this into practice as we develop our manifesto, work together and work with others?

 

We welcome all contributions and ideas to this topic as we learn together.

 

FORMAT OF MEETING

- with support from team to make sure discussions are compassionate, kind, inclusive & equitable :-)

• A short presentation with slides to kick us off by someone from the local party
• Followed by small group discussion (online will be a group)
• Feedback to larger group and wider discussion
• End with action and practical points

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Welcoming group of friendly Hackney Green Party members (probably between 15-30 members)
• Social, fun and warm discussion atmosphere 
• We will ask people to introduce themselves to each other (but optional if big group)
• No need to know anything about the topic in advance
• Opportunity to discuss the topic above in smaller group of about 5 or in pair if preferred 
• No pressure to speak at all - all welcome to just come and listen
• All welcome to come anytime and leave anytime if you need or want to
