This month our regular monthly social will be dedicated to welcoming new members or those who've been less involved before.

Magid Magid, the Lord Mayor of Sheffield and Green councillor, will also be paying a special guest visit. Magid's role and the publicity around him shows just one way that Green Party members can shake up local politics with a different way of doing things.

If you've not been to a green party event before this is a perfect time to come along and find out more about what being a members means and all the opportunities to get involved as well as meeting other members in Hackney.
