‘It’s our summer social!
Our Hackney North and Stoke Newington 2024 general election candidate Antoinette Fernandez has been an ardent supporter of the East London Waterworks Park campaign and has invited Abigail Woodman the Waterworks Park chair to chat to us.
East London Waterworks Park is a volunteer-run charity that wants to transform the Thames Water Depot, just across the River Lea in Leyton, into a biodiverse community park with wild swimming ponds, a forest school and community spaces, all accessible for free.
Abi will be explaining why East London Waterworks Park is the best possible future for the land, and how you can help the campaign to save the project.
