Join the Hackney Green Party and you Green Candidates for Mayor and the Council for an action day to get Green councillors elected to the Hackney Council.
There's lots of activities to do including simple canvassing, newsletter delivery, envelope stuffing and more. All training will be provided, and volunteers will be buddied up.
Arrive for tea, coffee and training at 10.30am. Lunch will be provided for those staying on for the afternoon session, which starts at 2pm. You can do the morning or the afternoon session or (ideally) both! When we're done at about 4pm some of the team will be nipping to the pub for a job-well-done shandy!
We really need your help to get Green Councillors onto the Hackney Council on May 3rd 2018. This is a once in every 4 years opportunity. Our most recent doorstep polling suggests it might be as close as 43% Labour / 42% Green. So we really need to get out there and swing that last percent!
