Come along to one of our events and meet other Hackney residents with shared green values.  We hold a monthly social event that anyone can attend in addition to other local events that we hold or participate in.

  • Campaign with Zoë, Mayor of Hackney action morning in Stoke Newington!

    Join Zoë Garbett and your Stoke Newington team to help turn Hackney Green! 💚


    When: Sunday 1st March at Abney Park (Stoke Newington High Street entrance, N16 0LH)

    Time: 11am - 1pm with optional lunch after at a local cafe!

    Be part of history and help see Zoë and your Stoke Newington team provide real hope and real change for Hackney!

    We will be delivering our latest Mayor of Hackney leaflet and door knocking to get the word out about Zoë and your Stoke Newington team, Liam, Ifhat and Reiner. The team will provide training at the start of the event and you'll be buddied up with someone experienced if you are new.

    No need to prepare anything in advance, just bring yourself and some comfy shoes!

  • March New Members Calls

    HELP US MOBILISE OUR MEMBERS!

    6.30PM - 8.30 PM WEDNESDAY 4TH March

    Come and join us for a phone-banking session, where we welcome new Hackney Greens members and catch up with existing ones to let them know what's going on in the local party.

    All the training and information you need will be provided – no experience is required. There will also be some free time to chat over food and drinks.

    This really helps us to engage members as a people-powered party, and it's a nice way to catch up with fellow Greens. Please bring a laptop and a phone if you have one.

    💚💚 Zoë Garbett, the Green candidate for the Mayor of Hackney election in May 2026, is joining us in King’s Park Ward (Clapton). 💚💚 Please join us to make this our biggest action day ever! 💚💚

    Meeting at Dorée & Co, 26 Chatsworth Rd, Lower Clapton, London E5 0LP on Saturday 7th March. 

    Arrive at 10.45am for welcome, introductions and training for first-time canvassers. At 11am we'll set off to meet residents in the King’s Park Ward.

    Let's take another step in turning Hackney Green with this sociable Green Action.

    Is it your first time? We warmly welcome diverse members, newcomers and those who aren't yet members of the Green Party. We'll make sure you feel welcome and part of the friendly team of action day volunteers!

    We will door-knock in pairs (for those who want to meet residents) - no experience is necessary and there's always an option to deliver leaflets in pairs.

    There will be full training provided and friendly Greens on hand to support every volunteer.

  • Dalston Action Day - 7 March

    Election Countdown: 61 days to go!!!

    Come & join us in Dalston as we head out into the ward to knock on doors, engage with residents and tell them about the great work our Green team have lined up for 2026!

    We will meet outisde CLR James Library on Dalston Square at 11am.

    During our action day, we knock on doors and speak to residents to get the word out about what Rachel & Zoë stand for and listen to their concerns and feedback. We will also speak to voters about Zoë's fantastic Mayoral campaign.

    11am: Meet & Greet plus briefing

    11.10-1pm: Head into the ward & knock on doors

    1pm: De-brief & feedback

    l be canvassing, building a winning team for the De Beauvoir ward.

    Arrival time is at 12.45PM for canvassing to start at 1pm. Don't worry if you are late, just make sure we have your number and we can share with you our live locations. 

    Whether you're a new member or an old member who wants to get more involved, everyone is welcome! We'll also look to grab some food locally, all are welcome.

    From 1pm we will go out around the ward door knocking, no experience required, training will be provided. 

    Come and join us for the chance to meet fellow Greens, be on the front lines of local political change, and become engaged in our local community!

    March New Members Welcome and Training event 

    Saturday 14th March 11am to 3pm

    All members are very welcome to attend this event, not just our newest members. We will have an introductory meeting and training session at the Bathhouse and then we will offer canvassing training in the local area. New people will team up with experienced volunteers. For those not able to canvass we will offer some introduction to phone banking, data entry and other skills.
