Hackney Greens Events

Come along to one of our events and meet other Hackney residents with shared green values.  We hold a monthly social event that anyone can attend in addition to other local events that we hold or participate in.

    Ride the Green Wave on this crucial election day for Hackney. We need your help to mobilise our thousands of voters across the Hackney to go out and Vote Green.

    Our amazing candidates, Dr Alex Armitage and Tyrone Scott are standing to make Hackney greener, fairer and cleaner.

    Hackney Greens are the largest Green Party in London with more than 600 members - together, we can really set the agenda at this General Election in December! Will you join us?

    Training is provided on the day and we will buddy you up with someone experienced if it's your first time - it's really easy to make a big difference, particularly on Election Day!

  • December Monthly Meeting

    Join us at 7:30pm our final Monthly Meeting before polling day.

    Come along to find out how you can help to raise the Green vote in one final positive big push in Hackney!

    Training and key messages will be given ahead of polling day itself, so it's a real must-attend if you can make it.

    If you have some availability over the next few days, or just want to get involved in any way, you are so welcome to join us.

    We are asking for volunteers to deliver crucial eve-of-poll reminders to Hackney citizens, and volunteers for polling day itself.

    Dr Alex Armitage (Hackney North & Stoke Newington): “I live and raised my family on the Rhodes Estate in Dalston. I daily see the needs of our community in my job as a children’s A&E doctor, from housing to healthcare to childcare. I want a future for my family and our community. We’re facing a climate emergency: change is coming, whether we like it or not. I’ll work for a Green New Deal –massive investment in housing, transport and clean energy.”
