When: Saturday 6th December, Time: 1pm - 3pm with optional meet after at a cafe afterwards!
Come and join us for the chance to meet fellow Greens and become more engaged in our community!
We will be delivering our latest leaflet to get the word out about Hackney Green Party.
The team will provide training at the start of the event and you'll be buddied up with someone experienced if you are new.
No need to prepare anything in advance, just bring yourself and some comfy shoes!
This essential campaign activity gives us the best chance of getting more Green policies passed at Hackney council, and electing Green Councillors in local elections. The social, climate and ecological crises demands the need for Greens voices in the room. We need your help today.

Let's take another step in turning Hackney Green 💚 with this sociable Green Action.
💚 Meeting at 225 Evering Road, Hackney Downs on Saturday 13 December.💚
Arrive at 1.45pm for a cup of tea and chat ☕ At 2pm we'll set off to meet residents in Hackney Downs.
💚💚 We will be joined by the Young Greens 💚💚
At 4pm, we will have a festive "tea and cake" to thank all of our volunteers who have worked so hard this year. Please RSVP for numbers.
Is it your first time? We warmly welcome diverse members, newcomers and those who aren't yet members of the Green Party. We'll make sure you feel welcome and part of the friendly team of action day volunteers!
We will door-knock in pairs (for those who want to meet residents) - no experience is necessary and there's always an option to deliver leaflets in pairs.
There will be full training provided and friendly Greens on hand to support every volunteer.

We are absolutely delighted to have a lot of new members recently so we have decided to have a special event to celebrate.We would like to welcome you to the party and see if you could help! We've created a space for you to meet other new members as well as people who have been involved for longer. Our Green Councillors will be there to give you an overview of the work they do for Dalston, Hackney Downs and Stoke Newington. There will be some food and drinks provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies.

Come & join us in Homerton as we head out into the ward to knock on doors and tell residents about the great work our joint Green & Hackney Independent Socialist allied team have lined up for Hackney in 2025 and into 2026!We will meet at the corner of Brenthouse Road and Mare Street at 11:30am.
This is an event suitable for new members, where we will provide training and pair new members with more experienced canvassing partners. Everyone will get a briefing at the start and chance to meet other like-minded individuals!During our action, we knock on doors and speak to residents to get the word out about what Zoe (Green), Heather and Alana (Hackney Indpendent Socialist) stand for and listen to their concerns and feedback.
Timings:
11:30am: Meet & Greet plus briefing/training
11:45pm: Canvassing, doorknocking and speaking to residents
1pm: Finish!

King’s Park ward Social and Action Day

Drop in anytime between 11:00am-2:00pm for the social and/or join from 2pm for door knocking. Don’t worry if you’re late, just make sure we have your number and we can share live locations.
Whether you’re a new member or an old member who wants to get more involved, everyone is welcome! We will have a simple vegan lunch and discuss what we need to do to win 3 councillors in the ward. Come ready to share any ideas and knowledge.
From 2:00pm we will go out around the ward door knocking, no experience required, training will be provided.
