Charlene Concepcion

Charlene is a life long Londoner and has lived in Hackney for over a decade. She has worked in both the charity and social housing sectors, and has campaigned for equality and social justice. She was previously a trade union steward and has worked for a trade union for the last 8 years.
Charlene says “I want to stand particularly for under-represented groups and to help all people in Hackney to feel safe and supported.”
Siobhan MacMahon

Siobhan has lived in Hackney for more than ten years and worked in Haggerston for 8 years. They work as a community gardener and as a development worker for a UK wide environmental charity. Siobhan has a background in communications and campaigns and is experienced in supporting disabled, learning disabled people and people with mental ill health, through gardening and nature based activity. They are passionate about supporting people and communities to reach their potential.
Siobhan says: "I want Hackney to be a borough where everyone's voices are heard and everyone can thrive!"
Nisa Sharif

Nisa Sharif was born and raised in Hackney and is currently studying Politics and International Relations at Goldsmiths, University of London. She works as EDI Training and Resource Coordinator for London Young Greens, volunteers with the Green Party, and works part-time in hospitality. Of African and Arabian heritage, and having also lived in Kenya, Nisa brings a perspective shaped by community, diversity, and lived experience. She wants to strengthen opportunities for young people and for those who have already given so much to their community, helping more people feel connected to local life and democracy.
Nisa says, “I want our community to grow in a way that gives people hope, new opportunity, and a real sense of belonging.”
