We are really excited to announce that Zoë Garbett and Alastair Binnie-Lubbock have been elected as Councillors for Dalston and Hackney Downs respectively. Zoë also finished in a strong second place for Mayor, up 6.5% on the last Mayoral election.

This is a fantastic result for us! Labour brought in two MPs, the Mayor of London and pulled in support from Boroughs all over London to fight us - and we won! Our other wonderful target candidates, Tyrone, Bettina and Charlie came very close and we are incredibly proud of them for the campaigns they ran.

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who got involved with this year's campaign. Every single contribution led to this, we only won in Hackney Downs by 31 votes.

Our collective energy and efforts are what have achieved this result and together we now have 2 Green Councillors in Hackney. They will represent Hackney's residents and push for the environmental and social change that we all want.
