This month we have a very special treat, Green peer Natalie Bennett (aka Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle) is joining us to talk about her work at the House of Lords, the Covid-19 response and anything else you want to ask her.
Natalie was introduced as the second Green peer in the House of Lords on the 15th of October, 2019, joining Jenny Jones in the House.
She was Leader of the Green Party from 2012 to 2016, taking part in the televised leaders debates in 2015. That year, the Greens won more than 1 million votes.
She brings the experience of decades of campaigning for change on three continents, and the knowledge of what’s being done well and badly from cities and towns across the UK.
Natalie’s made her home in Sheffield, in Manor Castle ward, from which she takes her title.
