Rectory Road is in urgent need of improvement. Residents shouldn't have to wait for improvements to the street scene to slow traffic, improve walking and cycling and the overall quality of the road. This is why we are calling on TfL to:
- Extend the bus lane along the length of Rectory Road
- Plant more street trees - to help with air pollution, cooling the road and the general appearance
- Investigate the possibility of a stopping place to allow for deliveries to residents
- Increase 20mph signage in the area
- To fully consult residents if changes are proposed to the Rectory Road / Stoke Newington gyratory
