Our very own Zoë Garbett has been selected as the Green Party candidate for Mayor of London in the 2024 elections.

The Green Party also announced the London Assembly list candidates which include Zoë Garbett in 4th position. Zack Polanski and Antoinette Fernandez, also a Hackney Green Party members, came 3rd and 13th respectively.

Zoë said: “Thank you to Greens across London who have selected me to be the Green Party’s candidate for Mayor of London. I’ve been overwhelmed by the support and I can’t wait to start this campaign.

“I will be using my experience from Hackney to campaign on issues that resonate across London, like holding the police to account, support for small businesses and more urgent action on the climate emergency.”

The need for more elected Greens in City Hall has never been more urgent.
