The new Green administration in Hackney Council is setting its first ever budget in February 2027.
 đ It is important to our councillors and mayor, for the party members to be involved in what is a historic moment đ

Join us for a session exploring how the council budget works, what changes we're going to be making, longer term plans, where we can pull levers and where our hands are tied. We want to hear your thoughts on the budget and have a dialogue about what could be possible in a Green Hackney.
The session will be lead by Florence Schechter, councillor for Brownswood and cabinet member for finance. Mayor Zoë Garbett and other members of the executive and council will be there diaries permitting.
